TUSCANY OLIVE WOOD WILL DISPLAY CUSTOM FLOORING COLORS AND DESIGNS AT NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL CARPET SHOW (NYICS)

GREENSBORO, N.C. / July 1, 2013– Tuscany Olive Wood announced this week that they have been invited to show their product at the 2013 New York International Carpet Show in New York City October 6-8. Traditionally, a Market trade event for high-end carpet and rug manufacturers, Tuscany Olive Wood will represent luxury, environmentally positive wood flooring.

New York International Carpet Show takes place in conjuncture with Metro Market Week in NYC every fall. Both events are known for showcasing the most current and innovative products for home and commercial design. Tuscany Olive Wood is the only distributor and manufacturer of Italian olive wood flooring in North America and exemplifies the growth of these two shows as continued trendsetters.

“New York is the cornerstone of design, we are proud to be able to showcase Tuscany Olive Wood at a show that prides itself on finding new and beautiful products,” said Julie Blacutt, director of business development at Tuscany Olive Wood. “We hope to showcase our product to the global tastemakers and trendsetters of New York City.”

Tuscany Olive Wood will be showing several new color options created specifically for the NYICS, as well as their standard colors. Tuscany Olive Wood agriculturally salvages 120 to 1,000 year old olive trees, giving homeowners the opportunity to bring the Renaissance into their everyday living. The olive wood is cut in Italy and manufactured into luxury hardwoods in America, creating a best of both worlds appeal to the designer and consumer.

New York International Carpet Show is the only stand-alone trade show during Metro Market Week. The show will feature over 30 international vendors and is located in the Chelsea neighborhood at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 18th St. between 6th and 7th Avenues. TUSCANY OLIVE WOOD ADDS WALL PANELING AND ACCENT OPTIONS TO REPERTOIRE

Tuscany Olive Wood flooring debuts new options in the works for their previously exclusive olive wood flooring line. As the popularity of wood paneling in accent walls, fireplaces, kitchen bars, and entire rooms hits its resurge, Tuscany Olive Wood has opted to expand their flooring line to encompass wall paneling.

Tuscany Olive Wood prides themselves on having the newest and most innovative flooring product out there, with a sustainable story to go along with it. Together, these things have added up to an exquisite high end flooring option unlike any other. The choice to expand the functionality of the olive wood into wall paneling and accents will help the company continue to grow and remain relevant among home design products.

Tuscany Olive Wood flooring debuted in the US during the Fall 2012 High Point Furniture Market. This exclusive flooring sources 120 to 1,000 year old olive trees, giving homeowners the opportunity to bring the Renaissance into their everyday living. Tuscany Olive Wood works with Italian olive grove owners to purchase the logs that have been pruned to stimulate new growth. By salvaging the pruned olive wood, the company provides extra income to the Italian farmers and stops the burning of these materials.

“Of course we all love olive wood here in the office and the natural beauty it gives to any room, so the addition of wall paneling options seemed like a natural jump,” said Renee Redd, PR Rep for Tuscany Olive Wood. “It will be a wonderful way to add the rich history and aesthetic of olive wood to a room without having to commit to a floor.”

TUSCANY OLIVE WOOD RETURNS TO HIGH POINT FURNITURE MARKET THIS SPRING FOR CUSTOM COLOR DEBUT

GREENSBORO, N.C./Mar. 25, 2013 — Initially debuting at last fall’s High Point Furniture Market, Tuscany Olive Wood will be returning this spring to showcase their latest colors and designs at CR Laine, one of Furniture Market’s premiere showrooms.

Tuscany Olive Wood previously collaborated with CR Laine to design a custom olive wood floor for the furniture manufacturer’s Hamilton-Wrenn showroom last fall. This year, Tuscany Olive Wood is thrilled to be welcomed back to showcase some of their modern color innovations for spring, including Carrera White, herringbone options and a nod to Pantone’s Emerald Green of 2013.

This unique flooring salvages material from 120 to 1,000 year old olive trees, giving homeowners the opportunity to bring the Renaissance into their everyday living. As olive trees age, they need routine pruning to stimulate new growth. Tuscany Olive Wood flooring partners with Italian olive grove owners to purchase the logs pruned from these ancient trees. This process allows the flooring to be sourced from Italy and manufactured in America, creating matchless environmentally-friendly hardwood flooring.

“Olive wood is a truly unique product unlike anything else,” said Julie Blacutt, senior manager at Specified Flooring. “Beyond the obvious beauty of the wood, its heritage and performance make it an exciting source for flooring that will last generations.”

Tuscany Olive Wood is available in two standard colors as well as completely custom colors that will complement any home. For more information, visit CR Laine at the Hamilton-Wrenn showroom on 310 N Hamilton in the Hamilton Court Building, 2nd floor.
